A Perkins man has been ordered to appear in court on Jan. 6 on charges of possessing methamphetamine, marijuana and Alprazolam with intent to distribute.
Samuel Keith Wilson, 22, was arraigned on the day after Christmas and released on a personal recognizance bond by a Payne County judge in the Nov. 25 case investigated by Perkins police.
Wilson, who was also accused of possessing digital scales, light bulb pipes, a plastic straw, plastic baggies and a silver smoking pipe, could be incarcerated for 11 years and fined $6,000 if convicted of the two-count charge filed on Dec. 20.
Only two months earlier, Wilson had completed the Payne County Drug Court program following his arrest for marijuana possession in 2011 in Stillwater during a traffic stop, court records show. His sentencing in that case was stayed until Feb. 21, 2014, court records show.
In 2010, Wilson had been ordered into the Regimented Inmate Discipline (RID) prison program and spent about five months at the Bill Johnson Drug Offender Work Camp for possession of methamphetamine and marijuana in Stillwater in 2009, court records show.
Wilson remains on probation in that case, as well as for two cases for marijuana possession in Stillwater in 2010, all under a five-year deferred sentence, court records show.
