Area medical supporters may travel back in time with Stillwater Medical Center Foundation leaders for its Gatsby Gala on Friday, November 1st, reports Teresa Hopkins, Executive Director. "The SMC Foundation has a rich history of hosting vibrant galas, and this year will be no exception," says Hopkins. "It is sure to be a roaring good time! The gala will benefit the foundation's current focus, the construction of a warm water pool facility on the 12th Street campus."

The gala committee has been working overtime to plan a wonderful evening. According to gala chair Beverly Wells, "This Great Gatsby Gala will be a party like no other - complete with an amazing band, phenomenal food and over-the-top opulence! It's going to be a terrific evening."

Beginning at 6 p.m. at OSU's Wes Watkins Center, the party includes live and silent auctions, a specially prepared meal, music by Floyd Haynes and his Orchestra and dancing lessons by Barbara Wells-Kime and Graham Kime. Dress for the evening is cocktail attire or Gatsby-inspired.

Tickets for the benefit are $100 per person and must be purchased by Wednesday October 30th. Purchase online at www.smc-foundation.org/starlightgala LIFEadultdayhealthor phone (405) 742-5728.
