The Participants at the Life Adult Day Center recently held a fashion show with clothing designed by the participants and made out of recycled newspaper.
The fashion show was used to discuss the need for recycling and Earth Day conversation.
Participants spent a day cutting up, folding, taping, stapling, and fitting their designs. The next day a runway was made and the fashion show was held.
Many participants modeled their own designs for the Center to view. Pictured (l to r): Crystal Tinnie, Assistant Program Coordinator Kristy Moorman, and Fern Savoie model some of the clothes made by the participants Lea Shelton, Marie Spanier, Donna Morgan, Chuck Short, and Barbara Bird.
