If you read this article very often, you'll know that you won't find a rehash of last Sunday's sermon or a preview of next Sunday's sermon. It really wouldn't do justice to Max's sermon to try to condense it to a few sentences. You'll just have to be there in person!
What you will find is a story of many dedicated Chritians serving the Lord in a variety of ways. You'll find that we are an active, vibrant congregation looking to make a difference in our world. You'll find us worshipping together, working together, serving together and having fellowship together. This past weekend we also mourned together as we said good-by to one of our dear elders in our congregation.
We also study together. This past Sunday, the 10 members of the Disciple 3 Bible study which began meeting 9 months ago finished their study of the prophets and the writings of Paul. Quite an achievement! The Disciple 1 Bible study will soon be finishing as well.
Coming up next week, we will be honoring our mothers and the following Sunday, we'll honor our graduates.
If you're looking for a joy-filled place to worship, where you can put your faith into action and become part of a family of faith, come join us! We worship at 8:30 and 11:00 each Sunday morning with classes at 9:45. You can find out more about Lost Creek United Methodist Church by looking at our website-lostcreekumc.org. You can also call the church office at 405-377-0927 or "like" us on Facebook if you need more information. Lost Creek is located between Perkins and Stillwater on 80th Street.
