I would like to thank the Perkins area churches, Stillwater, Ponca City and many others for their prayers and concern for my son Greg, and granddaughter Shelby for 4 worrisome days and nights while we were trying to find them and make contact, with help from the Sheriff and American Red Cross at Fort Collins, Colorado. He works at the hospital in Estes Park and she lives in Lyons, Colorado. They had just moved there less than 2 months ago. She was rescued Friday and he Sunday night. Talking to him this morning, he was back at work, but said it was quite a rescue experience. I cannot tell you what it felt like watching those scenes on TV not knowing anything. I know God heard the prayers and now we must continue to pray for the remainder of missing and homeless there. God is faithful.

Friends To Host Fun Evening
To thank the community for their support of the Friends of the Library no-dinner dinner and other library programs, the Friends would like to invite you to a free evening of music and stories. The music will be provided by the band "MORGAN" and the stories by Sandra Williams. This is local talent which I am sure you will enjoy. We hope to see you at the Vassar Community Center on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m.
