Request was made that new members be appointed to the Yard of the Month committee for the 2013-14 club year. Judy Bartram presented information concerning the Territorial Plaza.
Sharral Tye, a member of the Stillwater Water Garden Society, gave a very informative presentation concerning water gardens. She shared with us many tips when starting a garden - choosing a site, shape and size of the water garden, type of gardens, and the various supplies needed to establish and maintain the garden. She also presented a beautiful slide show of various water gardens in our area. She left us with these words - "if it holds water, it can be a water garden". Thank you Sharral for a great presentation.
Our next meeting will be Thursday, May 16, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. with Nelda Kirby as hostess and Barbara Kirby and Irene Nickels as co-hostesses. Each member is asked to bring a salad.
