Police Ask For Help Identifying Suspect

Perkins Police Department is asking for help in identifying a man suspected of breaking into a vehicle recently. The vehicle was parked at Cimarron Casino's south parking lot Monday, April 22 . The burglary is believed to have occurred between the hours of 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. "The surveillance video shows him entering the car," Sgt. Dewayne Hammack said. "He was in the car for around one minute." Hammack said, after returning to the vehicle, the car's owner noted a wallet that had been left in the vehicle appeared to have been riffled through, though none of its contents were missing. However, a ring that had also been in the vehicle was missing. Hammack said there was no damage to the vehicle because it had been left unlocked. No burglaries of other vehicles in the casino parking lot at that time have been reported. The surveillance video shows a young man with black or dark brown hair, wearing dark clothing. If you can identify this person, please contact Sgt. Hammack at Perkins Police Department, (405) 547-2855.
