4/10/2013 8:52:00 PM Carroll recognized for 4-H service
During the April 4-H meeting, The club members expressed their thanks to Becky Carroll for all she has contributed to the Perkins 4-H Club and its members over the last nine years. Becky has worked with members on the local, county, district and state level and provided much encouragement and guidance over the years. Even though this ends her career as a Perkins 4-H leader, she stills plans to support the Perkins 4-H club with special programming as needed.

On April 1, we had our meeting at Evans Ag Barn. We welcomed our 8 new members and gave them a warm 4-H welcome. Today we recognized one of our 4-H leaders, Becky Carroll for her support and help to the 4-H club for the last 9 years; she will be missed! We also recognized some other adult volunteers for their support of the Perkins 4-H Club and those were Lisa Bowman, Christina Hutson, Lilia Wall, Suzie Reece and Kendra Moreland. We would like to thank these 4-H parents and our leaders Becky Carroll and Donna Dollins for their help in making our club a great 4-H club.
During the business meeting, we had three motions. The first motion made by Kayla Hutson was the idea of a field trip to Braum's dairy and Express Ranch this summer. The providedbed supplies, curtains and towels to an orphanage in Mexico. The third motion by Trey Reece was to go to some cattle dairy judging workshops this summer. All of the motions were seconded and passed by the members. This month's games were the egg run, a three-legged race and the pretzel game. After playing the games we had cake and Hawaiian Punch and we were dismissed.
